History
Gene and Connie Gloria opened Louie's Pub in 1987 and named it after their son, who passed away three years earlier. The couple met in 1961 in Chicago, where they raised four children together. Gene, a native of San Benito, Texas, had always dreamed of owning a neighborhood bar. The Gloria family continues to run Louie's Pub in loving memory of Gene and Louie. The classic Chicago karaoke bar celebrated its 25th anniversary in November 2012.
